The Greenway Public Art Advisory Group, meeting quarterly, advises and supports the Public Art Curator in the strategy and selection of public art for the Greenway. Members serve a three-year term on the roughly nine-person committee. More at https://www.rosekennedygreenway.org/GPAAG

The Lincoln Cultural Council (LCC) promotes and supports community events and individual artists’ endeavors. There is a special emphasis on providing grants to programs that, in aggregate, represent a diverse cross-section of activities that appeal to across demographics.

Autodesk provides a six-week sabbatical for every four years of service. The visitors spend one three-day “strategic retreat” on campus per year to collect data and make recommendations on selected issues. The visitors spend one three-day “strategic retreat” on campus per year to collect data and make recommendations on selected issues. I co-chaired this group for four years starting in my second year on the board. My co-chair and I selected topics with the headmaster and trustees, organized the agenda for the retreat, facilitated interviews, meetings and discussions, and wrote and presented the final report. Many of our recommendations on technology, athletics, curriculum, advising, and the boarding experience were implemented in the years following. I stepped down as co-chair in 2005, but remained actively involved as a member through 2012. Show less
